La Doinie is a small hamlet overlooking the valley, halfway between Sarlat-la-Canéda and Montignac-Lascaux, in a particularly calm and peaceful environment, surrounded by chestnut forests, but close to all the major tourist attractions of Périgord.
We depend on the beautiful medieval village of Saint-Genies which is less than 5 minutes away and which really worth a visit. There is a grocery store, a bakery, a butcher, a café and four restaurants, as well as its beautiful Sunday market with its many local producers.
Nearby attractions

Lascaux, and its magnificent cave paintings, is less than 10 minutes away.

Nestled on the banks of the Vézère river, this small town is also one of the prettiest in the Périgord Noir. It has many shops, supermarkets, gourmet restaurants and five bakeries!

Less than 15 minutes away, a few kilometers from the banks of the Dordogne river, is the majestic and unmissable Sarlat-la-Canéda, the largest concentration of medieval buildings in Europe, built in beautiful honey-colored stone that shines with gold in the evening sun. There are dozens of gourmet restaurants as much as the main shopping brands (Carrefour, Intermarché, Leclerc, Lidl, Casino, Bricomarché, etc.). Its Saturday market is really worth a visit.

Without forgetting the many local markets and the multiple opportunities to taste the local specialties of foie gras, duck, truffles and everything related to nuts. La Vieille Ferme de La Doinie offers something to satisfy all ages and tastes.
