Location

La Doinie is a small hamlet overlooking the valley, halfway between Sarlat-la-Canéda and Montignac-Lascaux, in a particularly calm and peaceful environment, surrounded by chestnut forests, but close to all the major tourist attractions of Périgord.
We depend on the beautiful medieval village of Saint-Genies which is less than 5 minutes away and which really worth a visit. There is a grocery store, a bakery, a butcher, a café and four restaurants, as well as its beautiful Sunday market with its many local producers.

Nestled on the banks of the Vézère river, this small town is also one of the prettiest in the Périgord Noir. It has many shops, supermarkets, gourmet restaurants and five bakeries!

There are dozens of gourmet restaurants as much as the main shopping brands (Carrefour, Intermarché, Leclerc, Lidl, Casino, Bricomarché, etc.). Its Saturday market is really worth a visit.
