La Vieille Ferme (The old Farm) is a complex of three fully independent cottages with swimming pool, ideally located in the famous golden triangle of Sarlat, Les Eyzies and Montignac-Lascaux. These three charming stone houses (locally referred as "gîtes") nestle in the heart of the magnificent unspoiled region of the Dordogne known as the Périgord Noir.  

As its name suggests, La Vieille Ferme is an old farmhouse entirely in stone, built on the rock at the end of the 18th century and inaugurated in 1806. However, some buildings are much older. It is currently made up of three independent gîtes with their own entrance: La Ferme, Le Vieux Four and La Vieille Maison, all tastefully renovated to preserve the charm of the antique and offer all contemporary amenities, as well as a fourth accommodation where the owners live. The cottages are built around a charming courtyard with a 60m2 covered terrace housing the old stone bread oven - dating back at least 400 years - which served the whole village and which still exists nowadays, transformed into a large community terrace and a games room opening onto the courtyard. There is a tennis table, a table football, darts, a junior pool table and a selection of garden games such as badminton and pétanque for our more energetic guests.
 
The place is constantly improving to offer travelers an ever more satisfying stay.
 
On the land overlooking the valley, there is also an underground cistern of over 100,000 liters, supplied with rainwater and a mini-pond populated by frogs and other amphibians.

You can enjoy the calm of the surrounding countryside, relax and enjoy the view in the beautiful and large 4000m2 wooded garden, relax and sunbathe around the beautiful swimming pool (11m X 4.5m) facing south (guaranteed sunshine), or even enjoy a seasonal grill on the private terrace available to each of the lodgings.
